Snow Hill leaders and Maryland Secretary of Planning Rebecca Flora gathered with community members Wednesday night to launch work on a new comprehensive plan, the first full update since 2010. Officials say the document will guide decisions on growth, housing, transportation and the local economy over the next decade.

People in Salisbury are getting a chance to shape the city's future.

The city of Salisbury says its neighbors will have the chance to give their input for the city’s comprehensive plan on Friday through an online survey. The city’s 10 year comprehensive plan is a list of guidelines and recommendations for the city.
