DOVER, Del. - A furry entourage took over the Governor's office, celebrating the passage of three bills that expand the state's abuse protections to include animal welfare.

DOVER – Noting the connection between domestic violence and animal abuse, lawmakers filed a series of bills on Tuesday that will collectively protect people and pets from dangerous situations by incorporating their safety into domestic abuse protections.
