Investigators in North Carolina have used a wildlife game camera image and a drone to find and arrest a man wanted for the fatal shooting of a Virginia sheriff's deputy. Authorities say Michael Puckett was found with a gun on Sunday night, two days after the shooting. He was ringing a doorbell several miles from the Virginia state line. Puckett was arrested in North Carolina's Surry County and booked without bond. He appeared in court Monday for an extradition hearing. Virginia authorities say the shooting occurred during a welfare check on Friday. Deputy Logan Utt was killed. Another deputy was injured and is in good condition.
