A federal judge has ruled that a small Eastern Shore town likely violated the constitutional rights of a local food truck couple, finding evidence officials retaliated against them for speaking out and challenging a town policy.

Millsboro town leaders are discussing a change to local rules that would allow food trucks to operate year-round. Currently, food trucks are only permitted during festivals and special events.

The owners of a food truck in Parksley have filed a federal lawsuit against the town of Parksley and a Town councilmember, alleging harassment, damage to their property, and violations of their Constitutional rights.
