The heat wave is impacting everything on Delmarva, including the agriculture industry, but not in the way you may think. Some farmers say the heat, is helping their crops grow.

Many farmers on Delmarva use pivot irrigation to water their crops. Michelle Wright, Treasurer of the Wicomico County Farm Bureau says farmers are used to this kind of heat.

With temperatures reaching 90 degrees for the third day in a row on Wednesday, HVAC workers are incredibly busy. Some HVAC companies, like SR Pete & Sons, say they get 30 calls per day about air conditioning repair.
