Students and teachers in Somerset County are getting an early start to their Thanksgiving break. Wednesday was the first half day of six, that the Board of Education added to the calendar earlier this month. Latoya Johnson is a parent who has a teenager that goes to Washington High School and agrees with the board’s decision to implement the half days.
