* At 644 PM EDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from 10 miles northeast of Saint Inigoes Creek to near
Tylerton to near Tangier, moving northeast at 55 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Expect damage to trees and powerlines.

NORTHWESTERN WORCESTER AND DORCHESTER COUNTIES THROUGH 715 PM EDT...

At 629 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of strong
thunderstorms along a line extending from near Sharptown to 10 miles
west of Deal Island. Movement was east at 20 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and frequent lightning.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Frequent cloud to ground lightning
strikes.

Strong thunderstorms will be near...
Hebron around 635 PM EDT.
Delmar around 645 PM EDT.
Salisbury and Fruitland around 655 PM EDT.
Salisbury University around 700 PM EDT.

Other locations impacted by these storms include Wetipquin,
Brookview, Trinity, Eldorado, Eden, Longridge, Mount Vernon,
Chesapeake Heights, Pittsville, and Linkwood.

At 612 PM EDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from 8 nm south of Westmoreland State Park to 11 nm
southwest of Yeocomico River to 12 nm west of Urbanna Inlet, moving
east at 40 knots.

HAZARD...Wind gusts in excess of 48 knots.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Boaters could easily be thrown overboard by suddenly higher
wind and waves capsizing their vessel. Boats could suffer
significant damage in high winds.

Locations impacted include...
Hooper Island Light, Smith Island, Crisfield, Deep Hole, Nanticoke
River Mouth, Southwest Middle Grounds, Ewell, Tangier Sound, Point No
