Another Maryland judge has ruled against a proposed constitutional amendment concerning congressional redistricting, saying a referendum on the measure cannot appear on Maryland's November ballot.
An Anne Arundel Circuit Court Judge blocked the Maryland State Board of Elections on Wednesday from placing a redistricting question on the ballot in November, though the Maryland Supreme Court will now have to consider the case.

Several Republican Maryland lawmakers have filed a lawsuit seeking to block a proposed constitutional amendment on congressional redistricting from appearing on the November 2026 ballot.
A federal judge has dismissed a lawsuit filed by a Cambridge man who was acquitted of murder after spending nearly two years in jail awaiting trial, arguing the Dorchester County State's Attorney had prosecutorial immunity.
