TidalHealth has announced that some services, including the emergency department, will be closed at the McCready Pavilion in Crisfield until further notice due to a water main break. The building is currently without heat and running water.
The Town of Federalsburg announced a water main break Sunday night.
The water main break in the town of Blades was fixed late Tuesday but a Boil Water Advisory remains in play as of Wednesday morning.
The force main break near Kent County’s pumping station along its Puncheon Run line was fixed. The burst caused wastewater to pool off Route 13 at Carroll's Plaza. The water also flowed into the St. Jones River. Delaware's Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Control (DNREC) says the public should avoid contact with the water in the St. Jones at the area of the leak.
