HealthSouth Chesapeake Rehabilitation Hospital in Salisbury broke ground Monday afternoon on an expansion project that will create private rooms throughout the hospital.
The project, which is expected to take about six months to complete, will add 14 private rooms to the inpatient hospital of 54 beds.
Wicomico County Executive Bob Culver joined hospital employees and staff for Monday’s groundbreaking ceremony.
