Today on DelmarvaLife:
We invited Salisbury Mayor, Jake Day, to sit down with Jimmy and Lisa to discuss all things Salisbury, and share some fun-facts about himself. Then it was time for a cornhole challenge where the stakes were high after Mayor Day bet that if he won, Lisa and Jimmy would have to run in the first ever Salisbury Half-Marathon!
After cornhole, we tossed it out to Laurel where we met up with 102.5 WBOC’s Corey Phoebus at The Janosik Park. Corey told us about a big event happening this weekend called the 5th Annual Broadcreek Bike and Brew, on Saturday, June 3rd. After a competitive bike ride, everyone is invited to stick around for the party, which will have delicious food and beer from local breweries and restaurants.
Then the next challenge was in the DelmarvaLife kitchen, where Jimmy and Lisa went head-to-head for a “Five-Minute Recipe Challenge”. Flour was flying and milk was splashing as the two prepared some sweet but ultra-quick dishes.
