Today, we have a couple of remarkable stories that you do not want to miss. The first one is about a little girl from Georgetown who was injured in a bus crash. In May 2017, Myanna Collins hit her head on the bus window resulting in a concussion.
During her CT scan, the doctors also found a brain tumor. Although the tumor was benign, this event inspired her family give back in honor of Myanna. They are now trying to raise as much money possible for brain tumor/cancer research at Nemours Alfred I. duPont Hospital for Children.
We’re also sharing the story of Tisha Ciociola Johnson, an army veteran whose life changed as soon as she turned forty. A routine mammogram revealed stage three breast cancer, and now her friends are rallying to help her fight. Tisha’s friend, Linda Andreassen is holding an event to help Tisha. The Riverside Grill will be hosting a
benefit for Tisha Ciociola Johnson
on Saturday, June 23, 2018. There will be a Pool Tournament, Bike Run, Corn Hole Tournament, Horseshoe Tournament, Chinese Auction, 50/50, Cheer Basket Raffle, Door Prizes and Dart Tournament. It all starts at 11 AM at The Riverside Grill.

The Salvation Army Sussex Chapel in Seaford is Celebrating Donut Day at the Boardwalk in Rehoboth Beach. They are expected to give away over 840 free donuts along with bottles of water.
