Saturday: Mostly cloudy. Scattered showers and thunderstorms. Highs in the mid 80s. Chance of rain 70 percent.

A series of disturbances will bring several rounds of showers and thunderstorms to Delmarva. Some of these storms could be strong to severe at times.
Scattered strong to severe thunderstorms will roll across Delmarva Thursday evening. While not everyone will see a storm, any storms could feature damaging winds, frequent lightning, as well as intense downpours that could cause flash flooding. All of Delmarva is under a Level 2 "Slight" threat for severe weather.
Strong storms will wrap up by late evening, then skies overnight will become partly cloudy with perhaps a few areas of patchy fog developing by Friday morning.
Friday starts off partly cloudy, becoming mostly sunny, allowing afternoon highs to reach the low 90s. Then there will be a potential for some more thunderstorms Friday evening. There is a Level 1 "Marginal" threat for severe storms Friday evening.
Then yet another disturbance will bring another round of showers and thunderstorms Saturday.
Sunday will be the better of the two weekend days, with partly cloudy skies and comfortable highs in the low to mid 80s, conditions that will continue into the beginning of the next work week.
In the long range, temperatures are expected to be near normal, and precipitation above normal for Jul 16 - Jul 22.
In the Tropics: There are no areas of development interest at this time.
