Ocean City is about to get a lot sweeter! The 13th annual Death by Chocolate event returns on Saturday.
The event is a scavenger hunt across West Ocean City. Pick up a free game card from Crazy Ladyz and start your hunt.
The game card is full of clues. Once you find the clue at each location, turn the card in to Sunset Grille for a chance to win.
"Let's say you don't need flooring, or you don't need a new kitchen, or you don't need tile. Well this game brings you through a local flooring company. You walk in, it's like oh my gosh I didn't realize they carried this," said Jan Patterson with Crazy Ladyz.
Each participating merchant offers chocolate in a unique way.
"Our Chocolate Martini that we're offering for Death by Chocolate. It's made with Baileys, Smirnoff Whipped, creme de cocoa, half and half, and as much chocolate as you want drizzled into the glass. You can ask for extra if you want," said Sunset Grille manager, John Curry.
The event was created to give people a fun day during the cold winter. It also gives local businesses new customers.
The event runs from 10 to 6. The winners will be announced on Monday the 24th. More information on the event can be found here.
