MILTON, Del.- Agents with the Delaware Division of Alcohol and Tobacco Enforcement have arrested a Milton man accused of manufacturing dozens of fake identity and Social Security cards.
According to Lt. Kevin Jones of DATE, his office received a report that someone in the Georgetown area was manufacturing official-looking Delaware identification cards and Social Security cards at his home. These cards were reported to be of identical design to those being issued by the Delaware Department of Motor Vehicles, Jones said.
Jones said that during the course of an investigation, agents confirmed that these ID cards and Social Security cards were being manufactured and bought through a man named Pascual V. Perez-Domingo, 48, of Shady Rest Lane in Milton.
Jones said DATE agents were able to secure an undercover purchase of a Delaware ID and a Social Security card from Perez-Domingo in April. On Thursday, May 5, agents raided Perez-Domingo’s home, where Jones said they seized several pieces of computer equipment as well as dozens of fictitious Social Security cards and official-looking fictitious identification cards from multiple states including Delaware, Ohio, North Carolina, Wisconsin, Texas, and California.
Perez-Domingo was arrested and charged with unlawful manufacturing of identification cards and possession of forgery devices, both of which are felonies. He was ordered held under a $4,000 secured bail.
Jones said a second person, 29-year-old Yolanda Perez-Lopez of Milton, was charged with hindering prosecution when she attempted to conceal evidence that was recovered inside of the home. She was additionally charged with possession of a fictitious identification card and released on a summons.
