POCOMOKE CITY, Md.- A Pocomoke City doctor has been found not guilty of sex offense and related charges a little more than a month after being arrested on a criminal complaint filed against him by a female employee.
Dr. Sarad Baral, 48, who is of Fruitland, but practices at Everest Medical Center on Market Street in Pocomoke City, had been charged with fourth-degree sex offense and second-degree assault. Baral's arrest stemmed from a complaint filed against him by a female employee on May 9, according to Pocomoke City police.
On Friday, Baral went on trial in Worcester County District Court where a judge found him not guilty of the aforementioned charges.
WBOC attempted to reach Baral for comment by phone at his office but it was closed.
