DOVER, Del. -- Dover Police have identified the suspect they say is responsible for a homicide last Friday at the Liberty Court Apartments.
Police say Sylvester Lee was involved in an argument with Timothy Safford in the area of the apartments located on the 1200 block of Walker Road around 9:40 Friday, June 22. As both men walked towards Lee's car, police say Safford shot Lee.
Police found Lee lying on the ground with multiple gunshot wounds to the torso when they arrived on the scene. Lee was taken to Bayhealth Kent General Hospital where he eventually died.
Safford is wanted for 1st Degree Murder, Possession of a Firearm During Commission of Felony, Possession of Firearm/Ammunition by Person Prohibited (2x).
