LUSBY, Md. (AP)- An unreleased Government Accountability Office report says the Calvert Cliffs nuclear power plant in Lusby had 140 lower-level safety violations between 2000 and 2012.
The report, obtained by The Associated Press, lists the violations of nuclear power plants across the country.
Lower-level violations identified by the Nuclear Regulatory Commission pose very low risk, while upper-level violations range from low to high safety significance.
The Calvert Cliffs plant had seven higher-level violations during the same time period.
