SHOOTING INVESTIGATION GRAPHIC

CAMBRIDGE, MD - The Cambridge Police Department is investigating a shooting Thursday night that left one man injured.

Police say they responded to a Shot Spotter Alert that detected multiple shots fired on High St around 11:30 p.m. on January 4th. When they arrived, police met with victims whose car had been damaged by gunfire. While on the scene of the shooting, the University of Maryland Shore Medical Center notified officers of a man who arrived at the facility suffering from a gun shot wound. 

Investigators met with the 33-year-old victim with a non-life-threatening bullet wound to his leg. The man, according to police, did not offer further information on the shooting. 

After their initial investigation into the incident, police say they searched a home on Cornish Drive where they found guns, ammunition, and related evidence. The Cambridge Police Department did not say if any arrests were made.
