Sewer

CAMBRIDGE, Md.–The Cambridge Department of Public Works announced sanitary sewer overflows occurred today on Water Street in the area of Vue De Leau Street.

A report is expected to be filed with the Maryland Department of the Environment and the Department of Public Works said it will clean the affected areas.

A press release advised the public to avoid contact with any standing water near an overflow, but said there is no threat of contamination to the local drinking water supply.
