SMYRNA, Del. - DelDOT officials say a car crashed into a mowing tractor along Route One.
Transportation officials say on Monday, April 26, a car heading southbound near Duck Creek Road left the roadway and struck the tractor.
Fortunately, DelDOT says the employee 'escaped serious 'injury'. Still, images show extensive damage done to both the mower and the car.
DelDOT says the driver of the car was cited by Delaware State Police.
The crash comes just after National Work Zone Awareness Week.
