DELMAR, Del. - Fire officials say bystanders helped the driver after the crash.
The Delmar Fire Department says on Nov. 26, before 10 a.m., authorities were alerted to a car crashed into a pole on Stage Road near 3C Church. Officials say the driver was removed from the vehicle by bystanders and churchgoers before the fire department arrived.
One patient was reportedly transported to a local trauma center for evaluation. Fire police and Delmar PD closed Stage Road until the electric company arrived.
