SELBYVILLE, Del. – The Delaware State Fire Marshal’s office announced it will investigate an early morning fire that destroyed a commercial storage building today in Sussex County. 

The Selbyville Volunteer Fire Company responded to Mason Drive around 4 a.m. to find the Red Sun Custom Apparel Shop engulfed. Firefighters worked to suppress the flames as additional fire companies joined in.

The fire marshal reports the building was unoccupied and there were no reported injuries as a result of the blaze. 

State fire investigators are currently on the scene attempting to determine the fire’s cause.

The damage is estimated at over $750,000.
