SALISBURY, MD - After final votes were tallied Friday, Randy Taylor has maintained his lead over fellow candidates Megan Outten and Jermichael Mitchell to become Salisbury's next mayor.

The total number saw Taylor lead Outten by just 50 votes.

The November 17th tally comes more than a week after Salisbury's City Elections, with the last 131 outstanding votes counted this morning. 

The final tally of mayoral election votes is as follows:

Randy Taylor: 1,150 votes, 36.2%

Megan Outten: 1,100 votes, 34.62%

Jermichael Mitchell: 914 votes, 28.77%

Today's final count included 37 provisional ballots and 94 mail-in ballots.

The swearing-in ceremony for Salisbury's new mayor is scheduled for Monday.
