Del. Panel Eyes Role of Exercise in Preventing Cancer

SALISBURY, Md. - The Maryland Department of Health says Wicomico County ranked in the top five for sexually transmitted diseases.

The report, called the 2018 STI Report, is based off of a rate between the number of cases per population of a 100,000 people. It says Wicomico County ranked third for chlamydia and second for gonorrhea. The highest ranked for both was the city of Baltimore.

However, Kent County recorded the highest increase for chlamydia at 120% from 2017 to 2018.
