PRINCESS ANNE, Md.- The man described by prosecutors as the organizer of an armed robbery at a Princess Anne pharmacy has been sentenced to prison.
Roy Davison IV, who was found guilty on six counts, including robbery and conspiracy to commit armed robbery, was sentenced Monday to 35 years of active incarceration.
According to prosecutors, evidence during Davison's two-day trial showed that he was the organizer of the armed robbery at Karemore Pharmacy in August 2018. He reportedly planned the robbery and recruited Justin Bull and Cody King to help execute his plan.
On Aug. 13, 2018, Bull, armed with a long gun, and King were dropped off by Davison in front of Karemore Pharmacy. Bull and King reportedly entered the pharmacy with masks on, pointed the gun at employees and demanded prescription pain medication, WBOC previously reported.
One of the pharmacists in a back office pointed a handgun at Bull and King and fired one shot, which missed them. Bull and King then fled out of the pharmacy and were picked up at a separate location by Davison.
King and Bull have already been found guilty and have been sentenced.
