SALISBURY, Md.- Authorities say two people were injured Tuesday after an SUV crashed into the CVS pharmacy on South Salisbury Boulevard in Salisbury.
Salisbury police Capt. Rich Kaiser said it happened at around 3:30 p.m. when a white SUV plowed into the front entrance.
Kaiser said a customer inside the store and the driver of the SUV were taken to Peninsula Regional Medical Center for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
It is believed the driver suffered a medical emergency which led to the crash, according to Kaiser.
The CVS remains closed while the structural integrity of the building is reviewed.
