Oxford Live Stream Election

A look at the live streamed vote counting process after polls closed at 8 p.m.

OXFORD, Md. - The Town of Oxford has released results from its open Commissioner seat race.

Candidate Norm Bell is the winner with 224 votes. Josh Coder received 212 votes.

This election received attention after Coder requested poll watchers be present during the voting process. The town compromised and live streamed the election process, since poll watchers are not referenced in the town charter.
