Baltimore Avenue Closure Ocean City

OCEAN CITY, MD - The Ocean City Police Department and the Ocean City Fire Department reported a road closure Thursday morning due to a crash.

UPDATE: According to police, the roadway was opened again around 2:30 p.m. on Thursday.

According to both departments, Baltimore Ave was temporarily closed at North Division St. due to a vehicle collision on November 9th. Police said delays were expected and asked drivers to use alternative routes such as St. Louis or Rt. 90.

The Police Department advised oversized trucks and trailers to use Rt 90 or Rt 54 to enter Ocean City Thursday morning due to the closure.

Baltimore Ave was expected to be closed for some time due to power lines in the roadway, according to police.

The cause of the crash has not yet been released.
