HARRINGTON, Del. — A former Delaware police officer has been indicted on seven counts of second-degree rape following a State Police investigation into allegations involving multiple victims, according to the Delaware Department of Justice.
William Paskey, 34, of Harrington, was indicted Sept. 7 by a Delaware Superior Court grand jury.
According to the indictment, the alleged assaults occurred between 2014 and 2025 and involved at least seven victims. Investigators said some of the alleged incidents happened after Paskey met victims through dating apps.
Several of the allegations involve Paskey's former residence in Felton, where prosecutors say some of the sexual assaults took place.
Paskey worked for multiple law enforcement agencies in Delaware and Maryland during the period covered by the indictment, according to the Department of Justice.
The Delaware State Police's Troop 3 Criminal Investigations Unit investigated the allegations. State police leadership contacted the Department of Justice after the allegations were brought to the agency's attention, according to the DOJ.
Attorney General Kathy Jennings said the allegations are particularly concerning because of Paskey's previous work in law enforcement.
“It is simply not possible to overstate how shocking these allegations are, let alone against someone who has been entrusted by the people of this state to keep them safe.I’m grateful to the Delaware State Police for their thorough investigative work here; we will work to ensure that justice is done," said Jennings.

The Department of Justice said the charges are allegations. Paskey is presumed innocent unless and until he is proven guilty in court.
