SALISBURY, Md.– Overnight patch work is set to begin on the US 50 Business (Salisbury Parkway) bridge Oct. 11, with work expected to be complete within three weeks.

Maryland's Department of Transportation State Highway Administration says single-lane closures will be in effect as crews work 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. Sunday through Thursday.

Officials say the project will look to address potholes on the Wicomico River crossing.

MDOT urges drivers to use increased caution in the work zone, where speed limits will be reduced.

Marine traffic will not be impacted, according to a press release.
