TRENTON, Del.- Residents of Delaware have once again been placed on New Jersey's 14-day quarantine travel advisory list due to a slight uptick in the number of positive cases over the past two weeks.

New Jersey added Delaware to its travel advisory list on Tuesday, Aug. 18.  That means individuals traveling to or returning to New Jersey from states with increasing rates of COVID-19 are advised to self-quarantine for 14 days. This includes travel by train, bus, car, plane and any other method of transportation.

The travel advisory applies to travel from certain states identified as those that have a positive COVID-19 test rate higher than 10 per 100,000 residents or have a 10% or higher positivity rate over a seven-day rolling average ("impacted states.")

There are now 35 states and territories on New Jersey’s quarantine list: Alaska; Alabama; Arizona; Arkansas; California; Delaware; Florida; Georgia; Hawaii; Iowa; Idaho; Indiana; Illinois; Kansas; Kentucky; Louisiana; Maryland; Minnesota; Missouri; Mississippi; Montana; North Carolina; North Dakota; Nebraska; Nevada; Oklahoma; Puerto Rico; South Carolina; South Dakota; Tennessee; Texas; Utah; Virginia; Virgin Islands; and Wisconsin.

New York and Connecticut already had Delaware on their quarantine lists. Maryland and Virginia are also on the quarantine lists of New Jersey, New York and Connecticut.
