DOVER, Del.- The Food Bank of Delaware is hosting three mobile pantries beginning Monday.
Gov. John Carney announced the pantries Sunday on Twitter.
On Monday, Aug. 3, a mobile pantry will be held in Georgetown starting at 11 a.m. It will be held at the Crossroad Community Church on State Forest Road.
On Wednesday, Aug. 5, a drive-thru food drive will be held at Glasgow High School in Newark, New Castle County. It will also be held at 11 a.m.
On Friday, Aug. 7, it will once again begin at 11 a.m. in Kent County. This time it will be held at the Dover International Speedway on North Dupont Highway.
You can sign up in advance or register upon arrival. Signing up ahead of time does not guarantee service as it is a first come first serve basis.
The Food Bank of Delaware says to stay in your vehicle and make sure your truck is cleared out. An ID and proof of Delaware residency is required.
