REHOBOTH BEACH, Del.- Rehoboth Beach firefighters say they responded to two accidents in less than 24 hours in nearly the exact same spot on Route One.
On Thursday afternoon, firefighters say an accident shut down northbound Route One near Holland Glade Road for roughly an hour. That's the same space where police say a drunk driver hurt three people in a car crash late Wednesday night.
Firefighters say on Thursday one person was taken to Beebe Hospital due to injuries from the crash. State Police are still investigating Wednesday night's drunk driving crash which caused one man to be airlifted to Christiana Hospital. Troopers are asking any witnesses of that crash to contact Tfc.
