HURLOCK, Md.- A gas leak called in late Monday morning resulted in the evacuation of the Amick Farms' poultry processing plant in Hurlock, Maryland.
Hurlock police said the gas leak was reported at around 10:30 a.m. at Amick's hatchery. Emergency officials evacuated the plant and a nearby apartment complex as a precautionary measure.
There were no reported injuries.
There is no word yet on what caused the leak.
