Updated: Salisbury Police Release Photos of Pharmacy Robbery Suspect

SALISBURY, Md.- Police have released surveillance photos of a suspect wanted for holding up a pharmacy in Salisbury, Maryland on Thursday night. 

Salisbury police said the crime occurred at around 6 p.m. at the Mt. Hermon Discount Pharmacy, located at 1207 Mt. Hermon Road. 

Police said the suspect walked into the store, armed with a black semi-automatic handgun, and ordered the employees to the floor. The suspect then went behind the counter where he removed an undisclosed amount of products from the shelves of the pharmacy. The suspect then ran out of the business and was last seen heading toward the area of Route 50.

Detectives said they are continuing to work with nearby business owners in an effort to locate and analyze surveillance footage. However, police said that at this time there is no identifiable surveillance footage available for release.

There were no injuries reported as a result of this incident.

The Worcester County Sheriff’s Office K-9 team assisted in the investigation, and conducted a K-9 track which did not reveal additional evidence.

The suspect was described as a man between 18 and 20 years of age, approximately 5-foot-5 to 5-foot-7, 120 pounds, wearing a black hooded

sweatshirt with the hood pulled up over his head to hide his face and gray sweatpants.
