OCEAN CITY, Md. - The Route 50 drawbridge in and out of Ocean City has been reopened after a drawbridge mechanical error forced its temporary closure.
The OCPD said at 9:03 p.m. that the bridge had reopened after reporting at 8:47 p.m. Sunday evening that the bridge was closed because the lock could not be placed.
Traffic was backed up significantly in both directions during the closure.
