DOVER, Del. - Federal prosecutors say three Delaware men have been indicted by a federal grand jury and were charged with Hobbs Act robbery in connection to an armed robbery in Dover.
According to court documents, the three men charged are Jerome Pegram, a 19-year-old from Newark, Damire Lee, a 22-year-old from Wilmington, and Jeremiah Cunningham, a 19-year-old from Wilmington. They are all alleged to be members of the Wilmington-based 6ixers gang.
Officials say the three men are accused of taking part in the armed robbery of a man at a Dover house party in March 2026. During the incident, the alleged gangmates forced the victim to hand over his property and struck him with firearms and their fists. They then used a financial app on the victim's phone to transfer money to themselves.
Pegram, Lee, and Cunningham are each charged with one count of Hobbs Act robbery. The men face a maximum penalty of 20 years in prison if convicted, though officials add that actual sentences for federal crimes are typically less than the max and will be determined by a federal district court judge.
Officials say both the FBI's Delaware Violent Crime and Safe Streets Task Force and the Dover Police Department investigated the robbery.
