PITTSVILLE, MD - The Town of Pittsville has announced the results of its Municipal Election held last night to choose two members of the Town Commission.

According to Town officials, twenty-eight ballots were cast last night with the following results:

SEAN MCHUGH - 17

BETHANY MILLER - 23

JARED SCHABLEIN (write-in) - 2

IVORY SMITH (write-in) - 2

SEAN BOWDEN (write-in) - 2

BRUCE COFFIN (write-in) - 2

Both Miller and McHugh are incumbents, with McHugh currently serving as the Commission President.

The two winners are set to retake their oaths of office as on November 20th.

Sean joined WBOC as Digital Content Producer in February 2023. Originally from New Jersey, Sean graduated from Rutgers University with bachelor’s degrees in East Asian Studies and Religion. He has lived in New York, California, and Virginia before he and his wife finally found a place to permanently call home in Maryland.
