POCOMOKE CITY, Md.-The Maryland Department of Transportation State Highway Administration says it will begin a pipe replacement project on MD 371 (Cedar Hall Road) just south of Pit Circle Road in Pocomoke City on Monday, September 25. The agency says the project should be completed by Friday September 29, weather permitting.
To perform the pipe replacement, crews will close MD 371 (Cedar Hall Road) between Dun Swamp and Pit Circle Road starting at 8 a.m. Monday through 8 a.m. on Friday September 29. Drivers will be guided from MD 371 using Pocomoke Beltway and Broad Street.
The State Highway Administration’s contractor, Reliable Contracting Co. of Gambrills, will use barrels and detour signs to guide drivers around the work zone. Motorists are asked to reduce speeds approaching and while in active work zones.
