Dredging near Ocean City is scheduled to start on July 24th.
The mayor of Chincoteague Island says the town is asking the Army Corp of Engineers for help replenishing it's southern inlet, Mariner's Point. Mayor Arthur Leonard says the topography has changed so much that more of the ocean's current is coming into the inlet and eroding the land.
