On Tuesday, the Sussex County Council held a meeting, in which they discussed a $2,000 grant given to the Georgetown Historical Society’s Marvel Museum. The discussion is part of an ongoing controversy surrounding the confederate flag flying on the museum’s grounds.
According to the indictment, both Kevin and Hunter Seefried are charged with breaking into the capitol, engaging in disorderly conduct, and unlawfully parading on the federal grounds. The younger Seefried, Hunter, is facing more charges than his father. Kevin Seefried made national headlines for carrying a Confederate flag through the Capitol halls.
