As summer winds down, Dover Police say a targeted patrol initiative is showing promising early results in areas the department has identified as crime hotspots.

A long-requested security camera is one step closer to being installed in a Dover neighborhood where residents have raised concerns about illegal dumping, suspicious activity and crime for years.

Six individuals were arrested Thursday evening after Seaford police, with assistance from the Delaware State Police, responded to a loitering and potential drug dealing incident at the intersection of North and Woolford streets, according to the Seaford Police Department.
