SALISBURY, Md. -- In just a few days, folk music will fill the air and a lot of people are expected to fill the streets of downtown Salisbury. But, the forecast for this weekends event is looking rather gloomy.
As the National Folk Festival packs up it's fifth and final year, the Maryland Folk Festival is something to look forward to.
The 81st National Folk Festival on Tuesday announced several more performers for the Aug. 26-28, 2022 event. This year’s festival will mark the final year of the event’s residency. In 2023, the festival will transition to the Maryland Folk Festival in Salisbury.
