A former manager tied to a child labor investigation at an Accomack County poultry plant has now admitted in federal court to helping undocumented workers, including minors, obtain fraudulent identification documents so they could work illegally at the facility.

A new set of court filings in the ongoing Salisbury PFAS contamination lawsuit against Perdue Farms is shedding further light on where the company says the pollution may have originated and who it believes should ultimately bear responsibility.

Perdue Farms showed appreciation for local first responders this holiday season by distributing 1,000 chicken roasters to 16 agencies across the county. The meals went to police officers, sheriff’s deputies, firefighters, 911 dispatchers, and support staff, giving them a warm, comforting dinner to enjoy with their families.
