Snow Hill leaders are considering the future of two town-owned properties with very different histories but a similar goal: putting them back into private hands in hopes of bringing new life to the town.

A long vacant firehouse in downtown Snow Hill could soon have a new future as town leaders weigh the possible sale of the historic building to a prospective buyer interested in transforming it into an events venue.
