DORCHESTER COUNTY, Md. - Towns across Dorchester County are getting ready ahead of a possible round of wintry weather this weekend, with local leaders outlining plans to keep roads clear and urging neighbors to help make plowing easier.
The town of Hurlock now has a Salvation Army red kettle to help raise funds for families in need this holiday season. The kettle is set up at Hurlock Gas and Deli on South Main Street, thanks to the efforts of an employee at the store.
