Temperatures overnight have fallen into the 40s and 50s across Delmarva as we get started on this Friday. With sunshine mixing with clouds at times…highs today should reach the mid to upper 70s inland. It will be noticeably cooler at the beach again with the wind off the Atlantic with highs there in the 50s and 60s. Overnight will bring the clouds and even the chance of a few stray showers here and there in the morning hours. It will also start to really warm up as our temperatures by the morning only reach the 50s and 60s.

Still looking at the chance of some scattered showers and even some thunderstorms into Saturday afternoon and Saturday evening. Some of these thunderstorms could pack a punch with lots of rain and lightning as the front clears the area. We are not looking at a ton of rain…totals ranging from 0.25 - 0.50” of rain by the time it wraps up. We quickly clear out the sky overnight on Saturday as high pressure takes control of the weather for Sunday and much of early next week.

We cool things off for Sunday and Monday with temperatures more seasonable in the 60s and low 70s for highs. The high slides off the coast by Tuesday with highs soaring into the 70s and 80s by the middle of next week with a chance of a few showers / storms by Wednesday.
