DELMARVA FORECAST

Tonight: Fair and not as cool. Breezy in open areas. Low 59-60°. Wind: S 6-17 mph.

Saturday: Sunny, warm, windy, and more humid. High clouds will increase PM. High 81-83°. Beaches will reach 78º in the early afternoon, then a sea breeze will cool the coastal areas to 64 degrees. Wind: SW 15-27 mph.

Saturday Night: Fair and more humid. Breezy in open areas. Low 61°. Wind: Sw 5-10 mph.

Sunday: Partly Sunny, and cooler. High 73°. Beaches will stay below 61 degrees with an onshore wind flow. Wind: N/NE 8-16 mph.

Forecast Discussion:

Tonight will be milder with a south breeze and lows in the upper 50's. It will be a bit more humid as well. Saturday looks balmy and windy ahead of a cold front. Look for afternoon high temperatures in the low 80's Saturday, but it will be cooler near the Bay and the beaches. Saturday night will be quite mild with low temperatures in the low 60's as moisture from the Gulf of Mexico reaches our area along with Atlantic moisture.

No rain is expected Saturday or Saturday night. Winds may gust to over 30 mph Saturday afternoon and Small Craft Advisories will likely be posted for all area waters.

Sunday will be cooler with clouds and sun behind a cold front. Look for a north breeze and afternoon temps. near 73 degrees,. The beaches will be cooler with temps. mainly in the upper 50's.

In the long range: A few spotty showers are possible late Sunday night into early Monday. Clouds will linger Monday with highs in the upper 60’s. Tuesday looks partly sunny with pm temps. around 74º after lows in the mid 50’s. There may be some showers early Tuesday, but Wednesday land Thursday look mild, with some sun and temps. around 74 degrees.

The average high for mid April is 67 degrees with an average low of 45 degrees.
