NORTHAMPTON COUNTY, Va.– Four people have died after the collision of a tractor-trailer and a car in Northampton County on Virginia's Eastern Shore, according to multiple media outlets.

The crash happened on Route 13 in Capeville at around 12:45 p.m. Saturday, according to police.

Police said a Hyundai Sonata was attempting to make a turn when a tractor-trailer hit the vehicle.

Eighty-seven-year-old Konrad Erbes Jr., 78-year-old Angelika Erbes, 80-year-old Jakob Eng and 76-year-old Theresa Eng were all killed in the accident, according to authorities.

The driver of the tractor-trailer was expected to survive.

According to published reports, the four victims were from Chesterfield County, Va., visiting relatives in Northampton County.
